For basic operation I find the Intel GMA 3150 sufficient. * While the stereo microphones work with Ubuntu in general, they do not work with Skype.I’m taking it apart in order to access and upgrade the hard drive which is mounted deep inside the case. The laptop running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit OS. Before you start, make sure the computer is turned off and battery removed. In system properties it says 8GB RAM installed but only 7.6GB usable. Remove six screws securing the keyboard and palm rest assembly. Carefully separate the palm rest assembly from the base with a piece of soft plastic (I’m using a guitar pick). There are a few hidden hooks securing the palm rest assembly. You can upgrade it to any other larger 2.5″ SATA HDD.Works well for most things, sound, webcam, ports all reported to work correctly.
